Famous Landmarks
Icons of the cities I've wandered through
Every city has its landmarks — the buildings and monuments that end up on every postcard, yet still manage to take your breath away in person. This collection is my attempt to hold onto that feeling: Prague Castle rising over the Vltava, the quiet grandeur of St. Vitus Cathedral, the spires of Sacré-Cœur catching the Paris light — places where a city's history and its present moment seem to collide.
Wherever I travel, seeking these landmarks out has become second nature — from the canals of Amsterdam to the mosques of Istanbul, from Vienna's opera houses to the castles of Budapest. Take a look through the gallery below for a tour through some of the places that have stayed with me the longest.
